CHICKLETS
We call our applicants “Chicklets” and welcome them into their safe nest, PUGAD, where they can expand their potential in all fields of human existence. The organization aims to let our chicklets to build relationships with both members and their co-applicants through numerous bonding activities and through the main requirement of “getting sigs”. In getting the members’ signatures, apps have to talk to members about themselves. Also, the application process aims to let the chicklets to experience what it is like to be a member of the organization through their participation in committee projects.
Application Process
Applicants’ Orientation
to formally begin the application process, this event is organized by the Internal Affairs Committee to invite interested individuals to apply for membership for the organization.
Applicant Buddies
each applicant will have an assigned Resident Member as a buddy to help them out during the application process.
Committee Assignments
applicants will be assigned to a standing committee and must fulfill requirements to help out with the organization’s projects. Here, their skills and interests will also be assessed to see if they are a good fit with their committee and their responsibilities.
Getting Resident Members’ Sigs
sigs are tokens acquired from a Resident Member once an applicant meets them and talks to them to get to know them better. An applicant may also do each Resident Member’s Memtask that will garner additional points for their application.
Attendance
all applicants are encouraged to attend all official events of the organization as this will be part of their participation in the whole application process. Attendance also serves as their way to get to know the Resident Members better and see what the organization typically does during a semester

THE PUGAD TAMBAYAN
You can definitely sit with us!! Sing a song, study for your exams, chill, or do whatever you want with the people inside the tambayan! Whatever that is, a member will surely be game to do it with you! You can personally feel the warmth of our big family when you visit us at Kiosk # 4, East Wing, Palma Hall, UP Diliman.
THE PUGAD ONLINE TAMBAYAN
Now that everything's online, we keep the fire alive and we surely maintain the relationships within the org through our Discord Tambayan.
BOOGAD
One of the most awaited events by the members and applicants of PUGAD Sayk is BOOGAD, the organization’s official Halloween Party! This is an event where the members can feel free to dress up and bond with other members to celebrate the first half of the first semester. This event is open to all members, alumni, and even to applicants of the org!
HOLIDAY PARTIES
UP PUGAD Sayk is not just an organization, we’re a family too! The PUGADeers and Chicklets celebrate the end of the semester and the year together with our annual PUGAD Holiday / Christmas Party. With fun, games, and great people, this occasion becomes more special as the organization gives back to the psych professors and staff.
